David A. Jensen

David Allan Jensen (born August 19, 1965 , Newton, Massachusetts, USA) is a retired American professional ice hockey player who appeared in 69 NHL regular season games between 1984 and 1987.
Selected in 1983 by the Hartford Whalers, Jensen played with the U.S. National Team in 1983–84 as an amateur and was a member of the Olympic team that played in the 1984 Winter Olympic Games in Sarajevo.
Jensen played about a dozen games with the Whalers before he was traded to the Washington Capitals in exchange for Dean Evason and Peter Sidorkiewicz. He played parts of three seasons with the Capitals. He also played for the U.S. team in the 1984 Canada Cup tournament.
