David White is an American actor, perhaps best-known for his leading roles in Christian films such as Mercy Streets. In this film, about twin brothers separated in childhood, White plays both brothers - one a con man, the other a priest. He is associated with Signal Hill Pictures and currently is doing a live routine entitled, Holy Man Undercover.
In 2001, David was nominated for The Movie Guide Awards’ Best Actor for his work in Mercy Streets. His running mates were Mel Gibson in The Patriot, Denzel Washington in Remember the Titans and Will Smith in Bagger Vance. In addition, Mercy Streets was nominated for the Best Family Film Award.
In 2003, David produced and starred in SIX...the Mark Unleashed opposite Stephen Baldwin and Eric Roberts. The movie was released wide in June 2004.
