Dave Scott (police inspector)

David Scott (1950-) is a police inspector who served as area commander for Palmerston North, New Zealand, and contested the Palmerston North seat in the 2002 election as a member of the National Party. Scott has also served as a pastor at a marae-based church, as deputy chair of the Palmerston North Safer Community council, and on the advisory board of Drug Arm and Youth Line.[1]

Scott is married and has four children.
