Dave Pipe

Dave Pipe is a Napier City councillor and chair of Napier’s community development committee. He entered Council in 2001 with 20 years of experience in radio, including a term with Newstalk ZB as a talkback host. He has three sons, one of which is currently studying at university. 1971 Dave spent one year teaching on Volunteer Service Abroad, Vavavu, Tonga. He has theatrical experience, including Javert in the 1995 Napier Operatic Society production of Les Misérables. Dave dreams of one day seeing the sphinx in real life. To Dave, still photos are not enough. He enjoys taking his dog "Charlie" for walks around Nelson Park.[1][2]
