David Pear (born June 6, 1953) is a retired American football defensive tackle. He was the first Tampa Bay Buccaneers player to be selected to the Pro Bowl and played in Super Bowl XV for the Oakland Raiders.

He has been quoted saying, "The NFL destroys families." "I wish I had never played." [1]
