Dave Morgan is a musician who has always remained on the verve of major success. He was a member of well-regarded Birmingham 60s group The Uglys with Steve Gibbons between 1967 and 1969, then the spin off Balls with Gibbons and Trevor Burton, departing to be replaced by a post-Moody Blues, pre-Wings Denny Laine.
Morgan was subsequenty bassist and vocalist with Magnum, departing before their debut album, and guitarist with ELO from 1981-1986.
He formed the Tandy-Morgan Band, with ELO keyboardist Richard Tandy in 1986.
His most famous song is "Something" written for the Move and released as a b-side to their #1 hit "Blackberry Way".
