Dave Mendonca

Dave Mendonca (born April 19, 1977) is a sports and entertainment journalist based in Toronto, Canada. He is currently a writer for a Los Angeles music and entertainment magazine called The Tub.

Mendonca is probably best known as a former national sports reporter and voice-over artist for The Score Television Network. From 2001-2006, he delivered on-air pre and post game reports involving the Toronto Blue Jays, Maple Leafs and Raptors. He has interviewed various current and former high profile athletes including Vince Carter, Wayne Gretzky, Marcus Allen and Pedro Martínez.

In 1997, Mendonca began his professional media career as an editorial assistant for the TSN show, SportsDesk. Since then, he has been a television sports reporter, entertainment writer, voice-over specialist, radio traffic announcer and guest coordinator for the TSN program, Off The Record.

In 2007, Mendonca appeared as a businessman extra in the feature film, The Incredible Hulk, starring Edward Norton and Liv Tyler.

Mendonca graduated from the Humber College Radio Broadcasting program in 1998.
