Dave Long

David "Dave" Long (born November 21, 1960) is a former long-distance runner from Great Britain.
He represented the United Kingdom in the men's marathon at the 1988 Summer Olympics in Seoul, South Korea. There he finished in 21st position, clocking 2:16:18. Four years later in Barcelona, Spain he ended up in 39th place (2:20.51) in the men's race.
He set a personal best of 2:10:30 by finishing 4th in the 1991 London Marathon.
He currently resides in Coventry, UK with his wife, Jane who did the 2007 lady godiva half marathon & came first coventry lady. Jane & Dave also have 2 chilren called Esme & Ella.
