The Dave Lloyd Mega Challenge is a cycle challenge based in North East Wales. Held for the first time in 2008, the event will be split into two challenges; 1] a 140 mile 'Mega' route, and 2] a 69 mile 'Mini-mega' route.
Starting in Ruthin, the routes will take in some of Wales's most famous climbs such as the Bwlch Pen Barass, The Shelf, the Horseshoe Pass in Llangollen, World's End near Wrexham, Moel Arthur, The Cerrig "Road to Hell", Blwch-y-Groes, and finally the "Stingers".
The event will be held on Sunday 29th June, 2008 and will attract around 750 to 1000 cyclists.
