David Lawrence Lemanczyk (born August 17, 1950, in Syracuse, New York) was a pitcher with an eight year career from 1973 to 1980. He played for the Detroit Tigers, Toronto Blue Jays and California Angels all of the American League.
He was selected to the American League All-Star team in 1979 after pitching a one-hit shutout on April 24 and compiling an impressive record through June (7 wins, 5 losses, ERA 2.85).

He now currently operates a baseball school for young athletes in Nassau County, Long Island. First in the town of Franklin Square on New Hyde Park Road, then in Lynbrook .
