David "Dave" Reed is a Pennsylvanian politician and member of the Pennsylvania House of Representatives. He represents the 62nd state legislative district, made up of parts of Indiana County. He is a member of the Republican Party.

[edit] Personal life
Reed was born on March 6, 1978. He attended and graduated from Homer-Center High School. After high school, Reed attended the Indiana University of Pennsylvania, receiving a bachelors degree in mathematics/economics. He later earned a Masters Degree in government administration from the University of Pennsylvania. Immediately after graduation in 2001, Reed began campaigning for a government office.

First elected in 2002, he was re-elected in 2004 and 2006. As of 2007, Representative Reed serves on the Children and Youth, Commerce, Intergovernmental Affairs, State Government, and Environmental Resources Committees. He will run for a 4th term in 2008.[1]
