Dave Herman (born September 3, 1941 in Bryan, Ohio) was an American collegiate and professional football tackle. He played collegiately for Michigan State University and began his professional career with the American Football League's New York Jets, for whom he played from 1964 through 1969. He started for the Jets in the 1967 AFL Championship Game and in the third AFL-NFL World Championship Game, in which they defeated the overrated NFL champion Baltimore Colts. He played for the post-merger NFL Jets from 1970 through 1973
