David K. Gassner (born December 14, 1978 in Hortonville, Wisconsin) is a former Major League Baseball pitcher with the Minnesota Twins. He went to college at Purdue University.
In 2005 his ERA was 5.87.
Gassner spent the 2007 season with the Rochester Red Wings of the International League (Triple-A affiliate of the Minnesota Twins), where he compiled a 6-12 record and a 4.95 ERA. Gassner's number was 22.
As of May 3rd, 2008, Gassner is now with the York Revolution of the Atlantic League.
On 6/6/2008 Dave Gassner was signed by the Boston Red Sox and assigned to Double-A Portland. He made his first start for the Sea Dogs on 6/7/2008 against the Akron Aeros.
