Dave Freeman (meteorologist)

Dave Freeman is the chief meteorologist for KSNW-TV in Wichita, Kansas, and is perhaps one of the best known television personalities in the state of Kansas.
Freeman holds the Seal of Approval of both the American Meteorological Society and the National Weather Association. In 1992, he was presented with the honor of being named "Broadcaster of the Year" by the NWA. He has also won a regional Emmy, as well as the coveted Edward R. Murrow Award.
Before working at KSNW-TV, Freeman was at WHIO-TV in Dayton, Ohio, from 1986 to 1993, and WMBD-TV in Peoria, Illinois, from 1984 to 1986.[1]
Most recently, Dave's updates on KSN of the May 2007 tornadoes (effects most seen in Greensburg, Kansas) saved lives though their coverage of the tornados lasted over 80 hours. He and his team of weathermen introduced live online updates, keeping people updated and even safe.
Mr. Freeman is married and has 3 children. Dave and family have been active members of the Baha'i Faith for many years.
