David Lawrence Davidson (born April 23, 1984 in Richmond Hill, Ontario, Canada) is a pitcher for the Pittsburgh Pirates.
Davidson was drafted by the Pirates in the 10th round in 2002 draft. He has played in the Pirates organization ever since and has made it all the way to the Triple-A Indianapolis Indians. He is known as a strikeout pitcher as he has recorded over 1 strikeout per inning in his career.
On September 3, 2007 the Pirates called him up. He made his debut on September 6 and gave up 3 earned runs in 1 inning.
