[edit] Nichibutsu vs. Nihon Bussan/AV Japan

Unfortunately KLOV is wrong in this case (and many others). All of the Japanese versions of the actual games say they are copyrighted by Data East Corporation (US versions say "Data East USA" as expected. You can try this yourself with MAME, for example). None of the Data East games' Japanese flyers[1] mention anything about Nihon Bussan/AV Japan. Finally, AV Japan is a Japanese adult video company that provided video material to Nichibutsu's later (early 90's) mahjong games. There's no way Data East would have been able to or even want to release anything under that label. 130.233.16.105 17:33, 12 September 2005 (UTC)

[edit] Moon Patrol

Williams Electronics released this game in the US, not Data East.

[edit] Law Suit

Unless osmeone says otherwise I am adding the 1994 Capcom VS Data East opyright infringement suit for the plagiarism within the Data East game Fighter's History. --DanHibiki 07:02, 20 November 2005 (UTC)
