[edit] Improving this article

This article was recently proposed for deletion. I deprodded it, because I believe DataEase is deserving of an article here, but it needs some work to address the problems that led it to being proposed for deletion:

  • The article has no references. Particularly useful would be references demonstrating independent third-party coverage, and confirming the importance of DataEase.
  • There is a large 'how-to' section with multiple screenshots - 'how-to' content is specifically mentioned in WP:NOT#Wikipedia is not a manual, guidebook, or textbook as not appropriate in Wikipedia, and if this information belongs anywhere, it's in Wikibooks. I propose to remove this section from the article.

I plan to try to address these issues over the next couple of weeks, and would be grateful for any help in doing so. If anyone disagrees with any changes that I may make, I would be grateful if this could be discussed here, rather than reverting.

Thanks. --Michig 13:37, 3 December 2007 (UTC)

I have removed the large 'From nothing to an application' section as mentioned above. If none of the content of that section violates copyright, it may be appropriate for Wikibooks - anyone wishing to retrieve the content can find it here.--Michig (talk) 19:41, 5 December 2007 (UTC)
