Datta Meghe College of Engineering (DMCE) is an educational institution in Navi Mumbai under the umbrella of Nagar Yuwak Shikshan Santhas, Airoli. It was established in 1988.
The institute is spread over a large area with laboratories and a lecture wing.
The institute is bifurcated into two blocks, the classrooms block and the administrative cum laboratory block.
The initial nominal intake was 120 students; today the intake is 510 students each year.
Students often appear in the merit list and distinction list of Mumbai University.[citation needed]
The school has have departmental associations for the students.
Faculty members represent national bodies such as Bureau of Indian Standards, Indian Society of Technical Education, etc. The university has a Faculty Senate.
The school has a fully computerized library with more than 25000 books, more than 300 international journals and e-journals and several national journals.
Datta Meghe College of Engineering has continuously added corroboration to Nagar Yuwak Shikshan Sanstha.
Datta Meghe College of Engineering situated in Airoli, a fast developing node of CIDCO in Navi Mumbai, on Thane – Belapur Road, an offshoot on National Highway connecting Thane with NH-4.
The institute is located at distance of 5 km, 8km and 12 km from Mulund, Thane and Vashi Railway stations respectively. It is connected by various BEST routes connecting with NMMT routes connecting entire Navi Mumbai as well as Thane railway station.
