Datawrite is a major importer and distributor to the UK of blank CD and DVD media, which was formed in 1992. They sell CDs manufactured by many different companies, but branded with their own labels, which are Data-safe, Datawrite, Titanium. Datawrite's website contains information about its products, but you cannot purchase any of their media online. They also supply USB Pen Drives, Media Carry Cases, Press Kits, Memory Cards, Disk Magagement Systems and Marker Pens, among other items.
There was some criticism during 2006 that a very popular DVD-R sold under the Datawrite Titanium brand, underwent a cost-cutting exercise in which the packaging, disk edge and writing performance were all altered while the branding remained unchanged.
Datawrite is a UK-based version of Data-safe Media.
They also import and/or rebrand other products including memory cards.
