[edit] dasHirunite takes the advice

DasHirunite took the advice and amended the page. It should be noted that the Tesla Memorial Society of New York does seem to stand out above the others in it's contribution and notability. I have no doubt that it's achievements and notoriety outrank other such societies and that it deserves a place on Wikipedia. I hope I have amended it satisfactorily.

[edit] And continued to follow advice

I have added more information, more sources and more structure to the article. I am a published historian and value above all else good source work. I personally have found this particular society difficult to research but I think I have found enough to make it distinctive and notable. My intention is to give a similar entry to each of the leading Tesla Societies, all with points of note set out for the reader to see. Your advice however is still very welcome.

Your point about referring not to the achievements of its members but to the society itself is of course a sound one. So I have added a section called Distinctions. In that we can see the achievements of the society and not of it's members.

[edit] Great Enthusiasm!

And I am so very pleased to see that we have added a real life historian to our midst. Your expertise will be helpful not only to adding the Tesla Society of New York to our knowledge base but also to raise the standard on many other articles on Wikipedia. You are welcome, indeed!
