The Model was also covered by the Chicago band "Big Black" on 1987 on their CD, "Songs About Fucking". The Big Black version is much closer to the original Kraftwerk piece. Big Black's frontman, Steve Albini [ http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Steve_Albini ] went on to become a major producer in the recording industry.
