Dasakumaracarita

Dasakumaracarita, translated into English as The Adventures of the Ten Princes is a story, written in Sanskrit in the 6th or 7th century by Sri Dandin.

The story describes the adventures of ten princes who have been disinherited, and their pursuits of love and power.

It is perhaps one of the earliest examples of a novel.[citation needed]
