Das Oath was a hardcore punk band from New York, originating from the The Netherlands. They formed in 1999. After two rehearsals the band recorded their 7" eight song debut in Rotterdam. It was not until a year later when Das Oath started to play shows. With only one 7" released the band hit the road and played all over Europe during the fall of 2000. Upon their return to The Netherlands the band went straight into the studio to record songs for what would become their 9" / 10" record. In December 2000 Das Oath did a Westcoast tour in the USA with Total Fury from Japan. The song "Awesome Rape" was included in Tony Hawk's Underground 2.

Das Oath featured former/current members of Holy Molar, Charles Bronson, VMW, Mainstrike, Devoid of Faith and Oil.

Members include Mark McCoy, singer, Marcel Wiebenga on drums, Nate Wilson on bass, and Jeroen Vrijhoef playing guitar.

Their sound was very chaotic, with very liberal use of guitar feedback, very loud, screamed vocals and very hard drums.
