[edit] My View of Wikipedia
While Wikipedia is a very strong community, I believe that it's starting to lose some of its... say... I dunno. It's losing a sort of momentum that kept it strong in the early days. Basically, the words of the guideline take over the meaning of the guideline. An admin has more sway with what they say. They shouldn't, but somehow they do. The rules are followed word-for-word, without even thinking of the reason why. After all, I don't see the point of not having at least a few subpages that don't have any encyclopedic content. I mean, the only reason I'm here is because I get to talk to dear friends of mine, like SaturnYoshi, AndonicO, and The Hybrid. Like Hybrid says, the consensus-based community of the 'Pedia has been molded into a charade of mindless admins. Please, do not respond to this message.
