[edit] Stages

[edit] New Stages

[edit] Haliberd

The stage of Meta Knight.

The stage begins inside a hangar, where there are no pits (but it's recommended to stay on the main platform). After a while, the platform lifts off and flies around with the Haliberd, before (?) landing on it. (?)

Yoshi is good for this stage, as well as Kirby, for their Av moves are good for getting someone on the smaller platform. Fox's A^ also works well with this. Anyone who is on the small platform should get off as soon as they can, or face another 30+%.

[edit] Skyworld

Pit's stage, when you hit the blocks on the clouds, the platforms become able to phase through.

[edit] Castle Stage

The Fire Emblem stage in which you take part in battle during a battle, then go through different floors.

[edit] Underground Temple Stage

Some say that this is part of the Castle Stage, but it appears to be its own stage.

[edit] Mario Kart

Mario Kart Stage. Shy Guys appear every now and then racing towards the screen. Please note that this stage has yet to be confirmed.

[edit] Delfino Plaza

Similar to Mute City in the previous one.

[edit] Pok'eMon Stadium

[edit] Tactics

The tactics below are for those divided up into 5 different categories.

[edit] Vs Category I Characters

These are the well-balanced fighters, like Mario.

The best strategies to use against balanced characters are to get in close if the opponent is close, or attack with projectiles if they are farther away. Never try to fire projectiles at close range, for they will just avoid it. However, throwing is good, so use it whenever possible.

[edit] Vs Category II Characters

These are for the faster/weaker characters, like Pikachu.

The best strategies to use for these guys is to get in close and fire away with those punches. When they get up to about 100%, smash them off the stage. If they try to get back, simply jump out and smack them downwards into oblivion. For slower characters, timing is key.

[edit] Vs Category III Characters

These are for the slower/stronger characters, like DK.

STAY AWAY FROM CLOSE RANGE. These guys dominate when it comes to close range. Fire projectiles from a safe distance until they get above 200%. When they get distracted, smash them off the edge. Attempting to edgeguard may result in horrible failure, unless executed correctly.

[edit] Vs Category IV Characters

These are for the multi-jump characters, like Kirby.

They tend to be a bit more light than the Category II fighters, so 80-90% is good to try a smash. Edgeguarding is out of the question, unless it's possible to jump higher than the opponent (impossible unless using another Category IV Character...). The best thing to do is simply use the strategies from fighting Category II fighters.

[edit] Vs Category V Characters

These are for the unpredictable characters.

BE ON GUARD. These guys tend to be able to do what they want, whenever they want. Dodging and countering is key.
