[edit] Breaking up of Characters

Should we edit the box to break up characters into their respective affliations (like Roland's new ka-tet, old ka-tet, ka-tet of the rose etc.)?

Oh yea, it would be nice too if we could a cleanup of the whole dark tower category of articles. And the box could do with some redesign. (I personally find the colour pretty weird.) Chuayw2000 10:56, 3 October 2006 (UTC)

It does seem more visually pleasing and easier to distinguish the sections for faster browsing. Could use • instead of |. Pomte 15:34, 23 January 2007 (UTC)
Its based off a format numerous other templates have used. And, like Pomte said, it is more visually pleasing and easier to distinguish. I'll change the | to • under Pomte's suggestion.--CyberGhostface 20:00, 23 January 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Missing major characters

Shouldn't there be links to articles for the major characters, notably Roland's new ka-tet at least? -- Angela 11:57, 2 February 2007 (UTC)

It's weird that people decided to write articles on these characters instead of the ka-tet. I think the articles for Rhea, Eldred, and possibly Modred and Farson are short and minor enough to be merged into List of characters from the Dark Tower series. Pomte 00:16, 3 February 2007 (UTC)

I added it as a heading since it doesn't fall under Organization or Glossary. Fortunately there is an article that goes under it (Lud). The horizontal look doesn't detract from navigation, I think. Pomte 20:24, 23 February 2007 (UTC)

I thought about putting Carrie under related books, because in the 7th book, Susannah talks about an incident similar to Carrie's at the beginning of Carrie. Nay. Eddie makes reference to The Shining, but that doesn't mean The Shining's connected. If the book was related, King would have bolded it in the other titles.--CyberGhostface 01:38, 2 March 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Randall Flagg

I don't believe that Randall Flagg works for the Red. He is more of a loner. I suggest that he be moved to a different section, although I'm not sure where else he would fit. GofG ||| Talk 22:34, 28 May 2007 (UTC)

He is someone who works to serve his own purpose, but he is affiliated with the Crimson King and (claims to, at least) serve the Red, so he would fit there.--CyberGhostface 19:48, 27 June 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Callahan a True Member of the ka-tet??

This template lists him as so, but the Portal: The Dark Tower lists him only as an ally. Is he a true member? I believe that one should be changed so both the Portal and this Template match. Blackngold29 (talk) 18:21, 9 December 2007 (UTC)

I don't think he is ever explicitly stated as being part of the ka-tet, so I have moved him back down into "other characters". If I'm mistaken, please revert with soruce. –Pomte 02:19, 16 December 2007 (UTC)
