Removed non-notable parents, adding parents is out of context of artcile, want to show related to HJ 'king of Gypsies' not list all relations HJ & DMJ have similar back grounds un-like MCJ & SES, HJ is MCJ great grandfather, would like to source that rather than listing all relations. - The only way of showing that DMJ is descended from HJ is to state his verifiable ancestry. I am more than happy to assist with this if you want to pass me the details that you have.
- It is entirely normal for a biography to state the parents names, even where they are non-notable (notability is required to be the subject of an article, not to be mentioned). See, for example, Sean Connery. Removal of this sourced information is NOT appropriate

- May I just say I totaly agree removing source information is NOt appropriate, please can you confirm why you removed the sourced Henry Jackson source which was from the RHS Journel, which I thought we both in agrement was a RS, horses for courses, I worked hard to source the HJ info and you deleted it! I think we are moving away from the the original source and that was that DMJ was related to HJ, now what you have done is removed that RS and replaced it with related to MCJ and SES, does the reader really want or need to know who DMJ parents were, however HJ who is already on wikipedia may be of interest to a reader and can be picked up through the HJ link, I did not just remove it, I put up my reason why on the talk, HJ Rs was removed, this was the first source i think we must put that up rather than list relative. You say you maybe able to help, heres some info to get you started, MCJ father was Chrales Jackson born 1904 his Father was Charles Jackson, and his Father was Henry Jackson again I dont think it will do the article any justice by listing all the relative up to HJ, the HJ source would benefit wiki readers.--Diamonddannyboy (talk) 14:26, 28 May 2008 (UTC)

- Given the lack of any reliable source that says that HJ and DMJ are related, then stating this will require a mini genealogy on the page. This will probably warrant a sub-section of its own.
- AFAICS the original source stated that HJ was KofG, but didn't state that HJ and DMJ are related
- In response to your question on my talk page, no a Genes Reunited tree would not be a reliable source. It might however assist in finding reliable sources.
- I'd be glad to help further with the proof, but will need more information. There are a hell of a lot of Charles and Henry Jackson records out there!
