Please do not remove the NPOV tag from this article until it has been properly edited to have a neutral point of view. I am not knowledgeable in the subject and thereby am not comfortable editing this article to the extent necessary, but I have replaced the tag because this article is clearly not neutral. - Che Nuevara: Join the Revolution 16:36, 25 June 2006 (UTC)
I wouldn't agree that the article is non-NPOV. However, it's definitely not encyclopedic. I'll try to fix it myself if I get some time in the next few days. user:Jsc1973
There should be more factual info here, related to his basketball career as well as some background info.--Iwlad 00:14, 1 July 2006 (UTC)
I agree that this article is more non-encyclopedic than non-neutral. More background on his childhood in Serbia (leaving his family to play basketball at a young age in a war-torn country, being drafted at 17) and his experiences with the Serbian national team (Darko was a significant bench contributer and they were favorites to win the Euroleague championships until in-fighting tore the team apart. Darko's quote from this was something like: "It is a disaster. We are lost"). Also, it might be worth mentioning that Kelvin Cato's was an expiring contract, presumably acquired to aid in the re-signing of Ben Wallace, which ultimately fell through.
Most importantly: the website FreeDarko.com is not a Darko Milicic fan site. From the site: "We’re not Pistons fans, and the actual plight of Darko Milicic, the man, interests us very little." Deltag 18:59, 7 July 2006 (UTC)
Agreed with Deltag. I read FreeDarko all the time, and they most certainly aren't fans of his. If anything, they don't really care about him at all. So I took it out.
[edit] country flag in place of birth
What is the point of including the flag for the birthplace? Reasons why NOT to include is summed up very well at WP:FLAG. // laughing man 11:52, 9 August 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Incorrect translation on Youtube reference !
Translation of Darko's outburst video, isn't good. I've put video with a better English translation into references, but someone have change it again to that youtube video. Part of subtitle were Darko insults Italian referee is wrong. Translator added few swears that haven't been said (on account of Italians).
Result is that you get feeling that he has insulted Italian ref (and even people)much more worse than he did. I don't know why translator did this, but its WRONG ! His outburst is terrible as it is, there's no need to make it more disgusting with wrong translation, and than to put that translation on Wikipedia.
One that I've found and suggested is This One, but someone erased it from references few hour ago. That's not good. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 91.150.103.136 (talk) 10:57, 10 September 2007 (UTC)
