[edit] Problems with this page
I've edited this page slightly for style, removing redlinks, inappropriate bolding and generally tried to make it sound like it's written in English. I also added an unreferenced tag for obvious reasons. It still doesn't read very well, but I'm unwilling to really do anything else to it as I don't actually know this kind of music. Can someone who does try and rewrite it a bit to make it sound more encyclopedic? Blackmetalbaz (talk) 13:21, 15 January 2008 (UTC)
how about radio trance? Htaccess 21:08, 18 June 2006 (UTC)
- I don't know about any, Digitally Imported's psytrance station plays all kinds of psytrance. I'll upload some OGG samples today. Psychomelodic (people think User:Psychomelodic/me edit) 03:43, 21 June 2006 (UTC)
- I mean Radio Trance the russian psy trance group who had a very good track called Plasma sometime in the late 90's Htaccess 08:42, 30 July 2006 (UTC)
Ah, I think SA Trance & Darkpsy shouldn't be merged, just because the article wasn't long, yet. And SA is not really a subgenre of russian dark, but the russian dark mixed with that other south african genre I forget the name. --TaZaR 12:36, 16 August 2006 (UTC)
I would suggest removing "night trance" from synonims list. Night trance doesn't have to be dark, listen to Phi or The Misted Muppet for example. It's "Night full on", as an opposite to "Morning full on" (Ion, Mungusid, Mr. Peculiar). "Night" generally means it has less clear melody synth, more complicated sound and rather strong attitude. While Morning music usually is clearer in sounds and borrows some cheerfullness and easyness from Euro trance. --ilyabirman
Good point, I'll remove it. I guess "night full on" is the same as "dark full on" isn't it? --81.183.138.49 12:53, 21 October 2006 (UTC)
I haven't found the term "dark full on" in use too much to have an opinion about what sort of thing is called it :-)
--- I checked this "The Synthetic Dream Foundation", maybe it has industrial elements, but it's not darkpsy. --84.2.218.4 15:02, 31 December 2006 (UTC)
Forget about it, it's dark, but it's more like the SA artists, I mean the mixture of fullon & killer/darkpsy.
[edit] Notable Artists is out of control
I propose to move this to a List of Dark Psytrance Artists, and add a link to the main article in this section. Also, remove direct links to external sites, since they are justified as "spam" unless point to an actual article. -asmadeus 14:53, 17 March 2007 (UTC)
- This has been completed - List of dark psytrance artists. I recommend doing similar thing with Notable Record Labels - except all of them right now are direct links to sites. -asmadeus 15:46, 17 March 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Fair use rationale for Image:Junimsoso Narvin Demo.ogg
Image:Junimsoso Narvin Demo.ogg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.
