This image is actually rather outdated: with the Pedestrian Heart Scheme, and the subsequent pedestrianisation of the town centre, this section of town does not look like this any longer.

In fact, at the current time, work is being done on repaving the ground where these roads were previously.

I've uploaded a new image, Image:Darlington town centre.jpg, a more recent view of the town centre showing the changes as a result of the Pedestrian Heart scheme so I've added this to the Darlington article in place of this image. Adambro 00:06, 2 December 2007 (UTC)
