Creator unknown. Black and white photo taken in 1918. Original print held by the State Library of South Australia: Mortlock Pictorial Collection. Item number: B22006. Darwin's "Little Rebellion", Nelson (Union Secretary) and Watts (Mayor of Darwin) address Dr. Gilruth. A little later the mob broke the fence and surged into Government House grounds, forcing the official to retreat to the Residence.
