Darlingtonia (pitcher plant). Image copyright July 5, 2004 Daniel Keshet. The image was taken in the mid-afternoon at a state park in Oregon. This patch of Darligtonias is the northernmost natural patch. Although the picture only shows a few, there are hundreds of darlingtonias in the patch.
