Daryl 'Tank' Smylie (born September 10, 1985 in Portadown) is a Northern Irish footballer.
He, a midfielder, emerged from Newcastle United's Youth Academy. However, he failed to make any first team appearances at Newcastle.
In the 2005/06 season, Smylie has spent time on loan, playing for Darlington and Stockport County, where he made his league debut.
In the 2006/07 season, Smylie joined Scottish First Division club Livingston on a free transfer where he has made a number of first team appearances. He has also been a member of Roy Millar's Northern Ireland U-21 squads.
He gets the nickname "tank" due to his large muscular physique. Also has turned out this season guesting for local side Killicomaine Blues FC, Northern Ireland.
