Darya Khan is a town and tehsil of Bhakkar District in the Punjab Province of Pakistan[1]. The tehsil of Darya Khan is subdivided into 8 Union Councils, two of which form the town of Darya Khan itself[1].
[edit] History
Darya Khan was established by Ismaeel Khan and his family in 1800. In 1861, when the family migrated to India they gave the land to their cousins Mumtaz and Iftikhar Feroze. These two brothers, Sardars of Darya Khan, established this town.
