Darwin Bank (Azerbaijani: Darvin bankəsi) is an Azerbaijani bank oil field in the Caspian Sea, 45-50 km north-east of Baku. Industrially significant oil and natural gas resources were discovered here in 1950. In subsequent 57 years 16 million tons of oil and 1,5 billion cubic metres of gas were extracted.[1]
A mud volcano is in the bank's central part.
