Darul Uloom Al-Arabiyyah Al-Islamiyyah

Darul Uloom Al-Arabiyyah Al-Islamiyyah in Bury, England is the oldest school of its kind in the UK. Based on the Darse Nizami syllabus found throughout the world, it was founded by Shaikhul Hadith Hazrat Maulana Yusuf Motala in 1973[1]. It takes students from the age of 12 to 23, providing a secondary school education for younger students as well as Islamic education to an advanced level. [2]

The Darul Uloom was the seat of learning for many great contemporary Islamic scholars, including but not limited to: Hazrat Shaikh Mufti Shabbir Ahmad, Hazrat Shaikh Maulana Abdur Raheem Limbada, Shaikh Saleem Dhorat, Shaikh Abu Yusuf Riyadh ul Haq, Shaikh Abdur Rahman ibn Yusuf
