Dartraige

Dartraige was a Medieval territory in north-west Ireland.
Dartraige was a sub-Kingdom of Bréifne located in North Leitrim. As part of Breifne Dartraige was under the control of the Uí Briúin Bréifne and later the Ua Ruairc (O'Rourke's) in the Medieval period. The local ruling family the Mag Fhlannchaidh (MacClancy) had their principal stronghold at Rosclogher on Lough Melvin. After the sixteenth century Dartraige became known as the Barony of Rosclogher.
