[edit] Playing career

Darren O'Sullivan played with Kerry in the 2004 All-Ireland Minor Football Championship, winning the Munster Minor Football Championship that year. The following season, he was promoted straight to the Kerry panels for the All-Ireland Under-21 Football Championship and All-Ireland Senior Football Championship. He first appeared for the Kerry seniors in the 2005 National Football League. During his time with Kerry's senior squad, the team have won two All-Irelands in 2006 and 2007 as well as the Munster Senior Football Championship in 2007. 2008 started well for O'Sullivan. In the absence of Colm Cooper and Paul Galvin, he gained a starting spot in Kerry's run to the National Football League final and took the chance to make an impression.[2]
