Darren Mew (born December 12, 1979 in Newport, Isle of Wight) is a breaststroke swimmer from the United Kingdom. A student of the University of Bath, he competed in two consecutive Summer Olympics for Great Britain, starting in 2000.
Mew started his swimming career as a promising junior, with three successive 100m Breaststroke final appearances in the European Junior Championships culminating in a 1997 bronze medal, but he has also made the often perilous leap into senior competition with relative ease. Coming off the back of the that junior medal, he won bronze in the 100m Breaststroke at the 1998 Commonwealth Games in Kuala Lumpur. Mew afterwards won several medal at the European SC Championships.
