Darren Helm (born January 21, 1987, in St. Andrews, Manitoba) is a Canadian professional ice hockey player for the Detroit Red Wings of the National Hockey League.

Helm was drafted in the fifth round, 132nd overall, by Detroit in the 2005 NHL Entry Draft while playing for the WHL's Medicine Hat Tigers. He also made an appearance for Canada at the 2007 World Junior Ice Hockey Championships.

Near the end of the 2007-08 season, Helm was called up from Detroit's minor league affiliate Grand Rapids Griffins. He played his first NHL game on March 13, 2008 and scored his first NHL goal on May 10, 2008 during game two of the Western conference finals against Dallas. He centered the team's fourth line throughout Detroit's playoff run.

On June 4th, 2008, after playing in 18 playoff games, Darren Helm won the Stanley Cup with the Detroit Red Wings as they defeated the Pittsburgh Penguins in six games to capture their 11th franchise championship.
