Darren Eliot (born November 26, 1961, in Milton, Ontario) is a former professional ice hockey goaltender. He was drafted in the sixth round, 115th overall, by the Los Angeles Kings in the 1980 NHL Entry Draft. Eliot graduated from Cornell University, having been elected to the Sphinx Head Society during his Senior year. He played in the National Hockey League with the Kings, Detroit Red Wings, and Buffalo Sabres.
In his NHL career, Eliot played in 89 games and accumulated a record of 25–41–12. He currently works as the game analyst for SportSouth telecasts of Atlanta Thrashers games, and has also become a popular commentator for The NHL on Versus. He also contributes as an online columnist for Sports Illustrated.
