Darren Abram
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Darren Abram is a rugby league coach, and the current coach of National League One club Rochdale Hornets.
He was appointed in November 2005 as successor to Bobbie Goulding, who resigned two weeks earlier. Abram cut his coaching teeth with Chorley Lynx in National League Two and was taken on by Leigh Centurions, with a view to taking them into Super League, in October 2003. He accomplished this in his first season as Leigh beat Whitehaven in a dramatic NL1 Grand Final. Leigh's Super League season of 2005, however, proved a disaster and the club were relegated after winning just two games.
Darren has now parted company from Rochdale Hornets as of 09/07/07 after a recent run of defeats which have left the club in a possible relegation position.
