Darrell "Digga" Branch

Darrell "Digga" Branch was born in New York City and raised in Harlem. He began playing drums at the age of five but quickly switched to being a DJ. Digga has worked with Jay-Z, Jennifer Lopez, 50 Cent, Lil' Cease, Beanie Sigel, Destiny's Child, Ol' Dirty Bastard, Prodigy, and has established himself as one of the industry’s hit makers.

In 1990, Digga formed Caged Fury with his friend Cam’ron and Cam’ron’s cousin Derek "Bloodshed" Armsted, later becoming a member Children of the Corn a group that consisted of Mase (known at the time as Murda Mase), Big L, Cam'ron (known at the time as Killa Cam), McGruff, and Bloodshed.

After receiving his bachelor's degree in music from the University of New Haven in Connecticut,[citation needed] Digga was signed to Undeas Recordings. In 1998, Digga produced eight tracks on Cam'ron's debut album, Confessions of Fire which went on to sell over 500,000 copies.

He went on to produce hits for artists ranging from Jennifer Lopez and Lumidee to Jay-Z and 50 Cent. Following chart success and a Grammy nomination for the Young Gunz' "Can't Stop Won't Stop",[citation needed] Digga has started producing hits for artists on major labels in the UK and Germany and currently runs his own production company, Six Figga Entertainment.
