The dark stonebasher (Pollimyrus nigricans) is a species of fish in the Mormyridae family. It is found in Burundi, Kenya, Tanzania, and Uganda. Its natural habitats are rivers, swamps, freshwater lakes, freshwater marshes, and inland deltas. It is threatened by habitat loss.
