Dayan, the lead guitarist of the Dark Troubadours, was renowned for his mesmerizing performances. His melodies stilled crowds, and always he called to her. His life mate. Come to me. Save me. Only she could bring back emotions long forgotten and colors that had faded into memory. Corinne Wentworth stood at the vortex of a gathering storm. Being hunted by the same fanatics that had killed her husband, she risked her life keeping more than one secret. Upon seeing her he realises she is the lifemate he had lost hope of ever encountering. He immediately asks her to dance and she accepts without hesitation. The links between them is relatively strong and Dayan holds her very close to allow himself to fell her at last and Corrine doesn't feel threatened by this stranger's action. They end up stepping outside were Dayan discovers she is with child because he perceives two heartbeats.
