[edit] Plot summary

The Yuuzhan Vong invasion of Coruscant is concluded with that world's fall after a long, pitched battle. Jaina Solo flees to the space of the Hapes Consortium with Yuuzhan Vong priest Harrar in pursuit of her as a sacrifice to his gods. Reeling from the death of her brother Anakin (depicted in the previous novel, Star By Star), Jaina begins to succumb to her anger. Those closest to her fear she is coming dangerously close to falling to the dark side.
