Darjuš Lavrinovič (born November 11, 1979 in Vilnius, Lithuanian SSR, USSR) is a Lithuanian professional basketball player of Polish descent[1] currently at center for UNICS Kazan and the Lithuania national team.
Darjuš Lavrinovič has blossomed in the 2005-06 season with Žalgiris Kaunas, earning an All-Euroleague Second Team selection. The athletic forward probably needed a couple of seasons at Kaunas to adapt before breaking out. He became a rebounding monster this year, claiming the crown in both the LKL and the Baltic League (9.8 rbds a game in each competition). His scoring was also way up, as he became almost unstoppable on several occasions with his combination of quickness, size and shooting touch. His twin brother Kšyštof Lavrinovič is a professional basketball player as well.
