Dariush Kashani (born July 2, 1969 in Tehran, Iran) is an actor. Born in Tehran, he was raised in London, Germany and Alexandria, VA. Attended Bishop Ireton High School and continued his college education at George Washington University where he studied Theatre and Biology.
His acting training continued under the tutelage of William Esper and Maggie Flanigan at Rutgers University, Mason Gross School of the Arts, where he received his MFA in Acting.

Dariush then moved to New York City and began pursuing a stage career. His first notable credit was East is East, by Ayub Khan-Din, at Manhattan Theatre Club. The production was directed by Scott Elliott, artistic director of The New Group.
After a few years of steady work, he was cast in Homebody/Kabul (by Tony Kushner) at New York Theatre Workshop, directed by Declan Donnellan. Subsequent productions were mounted at the Mark Taper Forum and Brooklyn Academy of Music (directed by Frank Galati) where he continued the in role of Zai Garshi. Other stage credits include plays at the McCarter Theatre, Cooper Union and the Joseph Papp Public Theater.
In 2001, he began to transition to television, making appearances on Law & Order, Law & Order: Criminal Intent and Guiding Light.
Now living in Los Angeles, CA, Dariush has appeared in numerous TV shows such as Drive, Ghost Whisperer, Lost, 24 (TV series), JAG and Without a Trace.
