Wesley Darius Donald Charles (born 10th December 1987) is a professional footballer currently playing for Brentford. Charles came through the youth set-up at Brentford and signed a professional contract in June 2006.
Charles' preferred position is left-back, but he can also play centre-back and left-midfield. He made his debut against Hull in May 2005 and made two substitute appearances the following season. During his career he has had loan spells with Crawley Town, Sutton United and Ebbsfleet United.
