Darian Townsend (born August 28, 1984 in Pinetown) is a South African swimmer. He was part of the Men's 4x100m freestyle relay team that won gold and broke the world record at the 2004 Summer Olympics in Athens. Townsend is currently attending the University of Arizona but he also attended the University of Florida.
